Website Terms of Use and Service Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

Thank you for visiting RHS Window Repair. These Terms represent a legally binding agreement between you (the “Customer,” “you,” “your”) and Rock Home Solutions / RHS Window Repair (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”) governing how you may use our website and hire us to repair your windows in Gibraltar and the surrounding coastal region.

2. Information About the Company and Its Service Areas

We are a professional window repair company based in Gibraltar. Our main service areas include, but are not limited to:
Gibraltar (All residential, commercial, and heritage districts)
Spain (Costa del Sol): La Línea de la Concepción, San Roque, Alcaidesa, Sotogrande, and Estepona.
We operate mobile service teams across these regions to ensure fast, reliable, and expert window repairs for both residential and commercial clients.

3. What We Do

We are dedicated specialists in window repair and restoration. Our core services include:
Double-glazing repair and blown/foggy glass replacement.
Adjustment, realignment, and “toeing and heeling” of dropped PVC and aluminium windows.
Repair and replacement of window handles, friction stays (hinges), multipoint locks, and hardware.
Window weather seal and rubber gasket replacement.
Wooden window restoration, rot treatment, and timber splicing.
24/7 Emergency window boarding and toughened glass replacement.
Note: All work is performed by trained and vetted technicians using marine-grade, coastal-compliant materials and professional installation techniques.

4. Service Agreement & Local Compliance

Because we operate in a unique coastal and cross-border environment, the following guidelines explain how our service conditions adapt to local regulations.

4.1 Uniform Service Standards

Across all locations—from Gibraltar to Estepona—our guarantees, service quality, and workmanship standards remain consistently high.

4.2 Compliance With Local Building Regulations

We ensure all repairs comply with the relevant building rules for your property, including Gibraltar Building Control regulations and applicable Spanish building codes for cross-border work.

4.3 Heritage & Co-Ownership Rules

Many properties in our service area have strict restrictions:
Gibraltar Upper Town & Heritage Districts: Repairs to traditional wooden or historic windows may require compliance with the Gibraltar Heritage Trust and Town Planning guidelines.
Management Companies / Estates: Properties in managed estates (e.g., Ocean Village, Queensway Quay, Sotogrande communities) may require prior authorization for exterior window works.
It is the Customer's responsibility to seek management or landlord approval before work commences. Your quote will clearly state if we foresee any extra administrative steps linked to façade protection.

4.4 Responsibility for Permits

For repairs requiring permits:
We inform you during the quote stage
We may assist you with the permit process
Permit fees are listed separately
Inspections will be coordinated when required
You will receive copies of all permit-related documents
Most standard window repairs in Gibraltar do not require permits, except for structural changes or protected façades.

Warranties say that you have to take care of the parts that were fixed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Environmental Factors: We can't guarantee that our repairs will keep your home safe from hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, or other severe weather events, but they are made to meet code requirements for these scenarios.
